my girlfriend is a working girl and I trust her completely and vice versa.
i've known her from quite some time before she got into the industry but we have only got together after her starting to be a W/G.

I'm ok with her working in the industry, however she knows not to discuss any details about work around me - and whenever any of the other girls she works with are over here, they are also not to share any details from work. just a courtesy thing really, im sure most dont want to hear about their partners f**king other people

no she's not on a leash, and she's very much her own girl - she just knows not to talk about details of her clients with me. she still talks about any funny things, and the other girls have a rant about some of their clients or how good/bad the night was - just not share details about my gf's clients.

I have come to know many ladies during the past few years that are wg's. Many have been in relationships with guys that they met through this industry.

The one thing that really irritates me the most about relationships between wg's and their spouses is the fact that the guys kick back while the girls become the sole bread winners of the relationship. WTF is up with that.

Come on girls kick these dudes to the curb. Most of them are completely capable of getting off their lazy butts and earning an income too. Why have some leech hanging off you when they could be earning money too.

There is nothing more satisfying when you are in a relationship with someone when you are both earning. Joining forces is what its all about.

If there is one thing I cant stand its men that live off wg's. You guys are pathetic individuals.

There are shit loads of lazy men in this country. They are fine with their girlfriend selling her behind when they want their habits supported but when they get all insecure with her work they give her shit saying what a whore she is. You dickheads need a bullet. I hate hearing how badly my friends are getting treated coz of you arsewipes and you know exactly who you are if you read this.

Get one thing straight girls, if your man is abusing you verbally when he is throwing a patty about nothing, dont expect it to get better. It is most definately going to get worse not better. They will make you feel like shit to keep you where they want you UNDER THEIR CONTROL. If you let it happen you have no one else to blame BUT YOURSELVES. Feel the fear and kick the wankers out.

agree. yes currently i am unemployed, however I have several final interviews for a new job - and while all my g/f's money goes into my account - it is still my residual income from my redundancy and profit from my side business which pay all of our bills.

1. I couldn't just leech off her, we share everything we make equally and;
2. I wouldn't know what to do with myself sitting around doing nothing

sure there are plenty of people out there that would just leech off there partner than make $$$ themselves, but this goes for both men & woman and the range of these type of people are quite broad covering much more than just the sex industry. i think a picture is slowly being painted here on men, which sounds like a tainted stereotypical view of some sort of crack addict - that in the majority of cases, just isn't true.

Great post Georgia I've seen this situation too and it disgusts me. Nobody can oppress you without your permission.

My husband is older, retired and also unwell. He can't work fulltime anymore and he loathes the fact I now earn most of the money. I always expected that at some point I would support him, due to our age difference and his health.He certainly doesn't expect it at all.

To make up for not earning, he does all the housework, gardening, etc etc, including the work involved in running the business. He still has a part-time job as well. He's a proud man who had his own successful career and I actually wish he'd slow down a bit since he's earned it.

I certainly wouldn't be with him if he gave me crap about my job or blew my money. I'm not saying this is a perfect relationship(what an oxymoron). We argue same as any married couple. Being in the industry adds unique stressors as well. At least our marital conversation is a bit more interesting than usual. It's not "darling did you put the rubbish out" it's "darling did you put the stocks away."
