So due to an issue called "phimosis" I have done a fair bit of research on the foreskin lately as I have been looking at circumcision (and how to avoid being circumcised at the age of 45)

    My findings...
There's actually a lot of specialised sensitive cells where the foreskin is attached to the shaft...cells removed by circumcision which removes a lot of the feeling felt during penetrative sex.
Reading the stories of men who have been circumcised in adulthood some have been very surprised at the loss of sensitivity

The Purpose and Function of the Foreskin

Protection. The foreskin protects the sensitive glans throughout life from adverse conditions, such as the abrasiveness of clothing. Without the foreskin, the glans becomes dry and calloused and desensitized. Like the clitoris, the glans is designed to be a protected internal organ, exposed only when aroused.

Pleasure. The foreskin is a unique structure filled with delicate nerves and a rich blood supply. The foreskin enhances sexual pleasure, especially as it glides over the corona (ridge of the glans) during sexual activity.

Sensitivity. The foreskin is a highly nerve-laden structure, containing approximately 10,000 nerve endings. It is this structure that gives the man his most pleasurable sensations. It also helps to retain glans sensitivity. Circumcision removed this structure and over time sensitivity decreases, making it more difficult to achieve satisfactory stimulation.

Lubrication. Much as the way your eyelid lubricates and protects your eye, the foreskin keeps the glans moist and sensitive. This effect is helpful during sexual penetration as the penile shaft glides within its own skin sheath rather than directly, chafing one's partner. Without the foreskin, many couples need additional lubricants.

Interestingly there's a large group of men who feel that as circumcision is done at infancy without their consent that it is a violation of their human rights...just as female circumcision is.

Did you know that the foreskin can be restored / regrown??

I was stunned when I found that out.
Many adults who have circumcision attempt to regrow it later.
    NORM - Why Restore?

There's even equipment you can buy to assist...tho they do look scary

Personally.....I'm working hard to keep my foreskin.
But in the end...if I was in a relationship with a girl who wanted me to get circumcised then that'd be the end of that relationship.
Just as I wouldn't start a relationship with a lady then push her to get a boob job (tho I'd support her if it was HER desire)

    ok...thats enough rambling from me

I've seen documentaries where women who are only used to seeing cut are put off by uncut.
And one who said that if he didn't get cut then she wouldn't sleep with him.

    Is it many...who knows...probably not
But men don't usually sit at the pub and talk about such things.....other than lieing about the size

I'm quite surprised that the women can't tell the difference in a condom.

I'm uncut and find that the skin rolls back as the condom goes on but then as the skin slides up and down my shaft it causes the condom to pull up because it folds under the skin. I've learnt over time that after putting a condom on I need to pull the skin back up to it's normal position over the knob and then roll the condom down to the base again. (if that makes sense)

Circumcision is fading out of favour due to the following

    1) Some Countries / Judges see circumcision as nothing more than child abuse these days? I mean what would society think if parents cut the tip of their sons right pinky off because it's a religious thing, they will get dirt under the finger nail in later life, it's what has always been done....there would be all hell to pay....

    2) In the USA that had very high circumcision rates it's fallen big time why? Because the doctors insurance is usually null in void over this now. Too many boys that were circumcised have successfully sued doctors years after the fact and have won multi million dollar pay-outs. Parents have even been sued.

    3) Only the religious few seem to get it done now, also the cost is quite high these days and young families probably don't have the money to spend on this. Plus pressure from parents and society has decrease a lot over time.

And really if you can wipe your own arse???... you can surely clean your own cock with a foreskin when you are in the shower.

    Does make sense.
Between lube and a thickness of latex I find it difficult to tell. Some condoms things felt different like skyn ones where the cock feels warmer, but I don't feel much difference with foreskin moving.
To be honest even now in my personal life once my partner is hard, I could mistake him as cut if I didn't see him in a non hard state. ( which I did when we first met lol)

The buzz I get out of an uncut guy is rolling his foreskin over in a handjob as by the look on the face it brings a lot of pleasure.
