Firstly I reply to this statement why not just hide it like many probably do?
Would you not stand up and fight for what you truly believed in. Do you not express what is truth for you. Do you not try to make it right if you feel others have misinterpreted what you expressed in words. Following the norm to make others happy is not being true to thyself!!! Saying what others want you to say for approval makes a person despise oneself so what can be gained from that. Nothing apart from self destruction and self hatred.
Having to come to terms with accepting the change must be very hard, why make your life harder than it need be by being so public about it?.
By Storm coming out into the open to discuss what she does, makes her life easier. It cements who she is as a person and it encourages those who are afraid like herself to be who they are and accept what they are. In so doing this they live fullfilled lives and not apease to the fantasies of others. There is no freedom in that way of living.
Im not saying theres anything wrong with the way you deal with it, but surely there must be pros and cons for both repressing it and coming out with it openly. I mean in some countries/cities it would be eaiser.
We dont live in some countries, we live in NZ babe. Good things dont come easy but they are worth fighting for.
NZ is probably not the easiest. I imagine in some very repressive countries it would be near impossible so you would have to repress it. Just wondering what was the tipping point?"
For want of one question mark (in bold) you have misinterpreted my post
If Storm has misinterpreted your post then so have I but you know what babe I really dont think so!!!
as my opinion when it was speculation/conjecture, hope that clears it up.
And as for the tipping point, I mean when one decides to no longer to hide it and embrace it fully?
